The school community was blessed with the presence of Sr. Lerma Victoria Pangantihon, r.a., when she graced the school during her canonical visit last November 12 to 15, 2022. Sr. Lerma currently sits as the Provincial Superior of the Asia Pacific Province. During her visit, she met with the different stakeholders of the school—the administration, the student leaders, and the faculty and staff. The school was also fortunate to have her during the Sapphire Anniversary of Batch ’77 last November 12. It was not the first time that Sr. Lerma visited Assumpta, but this year’s encounter was one of the most heartwarming meetings with her. Her empathy to the struggles of the school for the past months, as well as her presence and comforting words, has allowed the school community to feel the spirit of the whole Asia Pacific Province. We look forward to having her again in our Assumption community here in San Simon.
