Challenged to DO MORE

The Diversity Organization headed and founded by Mr. Joshua Pierce, had successfully expanded its mission to the Filipinos as they visited Assumpta Technical High School last November 13, 2023, to hold a brief orientation about the activities that the organization provides for learners who are marginalized. Specifically, with their tagline “Do more”, the organization aims to encourage the young generation to be more aware and knowledgeable about the economic disparity, not only in the Philippines but even globally.

Among the different partnerships of the Assisi Development Foundation Incorporation, Assumpta Technical High School was chosen to be the recipient of the mission of the Diversity Organization.

Last November 16, 2023, 100 selected Grade 12 learners went to JP Morgan Chase (JPMC) in Taguig for an exposure activity where they were introduced to different corporate and technical works and given various tips by different panelists, who were also employees of JPMC, on how to become successful in their chosen career paths.

In this activity, Assumptans were also taught different topics such as how to discern future careers, how to balance academic and non-academic responsibilities, how to create a proper curriculum vitae or résumé, and how to overcome the impostor syndrome in different contexts.

At the end of the session, the Diversity Organisation challenged every single person in the room to DO MORE and bring what they have learned to grow and succeed in their future endeavors, particularly in their careers.
